I think the Giver has been interesting because it is futuristic and its interesting to see what the author predicts the future will be like. It makes me wonder what my life would be like if I was living in that time. what strikes me about Jonas community is that there is no crime. It also seems strange that when they see a plane flying overhead they freak out. Jonas’s community is different than mine being so strict about personal issues.

i think i have completed a lot on my plp. i have done most of the work at home, and succeeded in all. i have discovered ways that i can make my products better. it is not costing much money. i should be able to do exactly as planed. i am finding more and more ways for me to be succesful. i should have my demonstration done on time. i have found many new ways to mold plastic and what machines to use. i hope to make my project with as less money posable. im evan thinking about combinding to different materials to make a can. i will keep trying new things and testing what different ways to make cans are. how companies will make cans in the future and how will they do it recourcefuly. i will do reasearch, call companies, and make new products. i have already learnd more than i ever thought i could lear about plastic. i hope to give myself more goals to tryout. i have learned that goals dont always succeed. sometimes i have to try one way after another. i have a realy good feeling after every thought. im evan thinking i dont have to always use plastic, theres other great materials that i will test out. i also have thoughts to reasearch like why doesnt wood work for cans, it seems stronger. i hope to working harder on it than anything. my plp is becoming like, my BIG interest. it is my favorate part of the day. there is so much to learn about it. most people are surpriesed of how much there is to know. thats why i chose plastic. i had other ideas but there wasnt as much to know. i dont know why but differnt material just realy interest me. i have always tried different materials but some are better to use then others. you think why use the product thats not as good. i hope by the end of the year i will be well educated on plastic.
